Polytetrafluoroethylene (abbreviated as Teflon or PTFE, F4), commonly known as the "plastic king", is a Chinese product name with names such as "Teflon", "Teflon", "Teflon", "Teflon", etc. It is a polymer compound formed by the polymerization of tetrafluoroethylene, which has excellent chemical stability and corrosion resistance. It is one of the best corrosion-resistant materials in the world today. Except for molten metal sodium and liquid fluorine, it can withstand all other chemicals and does not change when boiled in aqua regia. It is widely used in various working environments that require resistance to acids, bases, and organic solvents.
Since the introduction and research of polytetrafluoroethylene pipeline lining technology, our company has made significant improvements in the F4 lining processing technology. Through years of unremitting efforts by engineering and technical personnel, we have successfully produced a series of steel lined polytetrafluoroethylene pipeline fittings with the following characteristics:
- Corrosion resistanceExcept for molten metal lithium, potassium, sodium, oxygen trifluoride, high temperature oxygen trifluoride, and high flow rate liquid fluorine, it can resist corrosion from almost all chemical media, including concentrated nitric acid and aqua regia.
- High operating temperatureUnder strong corrosive medium conditions, it can meet the temperature range of -60 ℃ to 250 ℃, and within this temperature range (except for molten alkali metals, elemental fluorine, and aromatic hydrocarbons), it can meet all chemical media.
- High pressure resistanceWithin the temperature range, it can withstand a usage pressure of up to 3Mpa.
- Anti permeabilityHigh quality polytetrafluoroethylene resin is selected and processed into a high-density and sufficiently thick PTFE lining layer through advanced lining technology, giving the product superior impermeability.
- The F4 winding process lining of steel lining solves the problem of steel fluorine thermal expansion and contraction, achieving synchronous expansion and contraction.
- Standardized size configuration is adopted, especially for the pipes and fittings used in chemical pipelines, which have strong interchangeability, providing great convenience for installation and spare parts. The product design complies with HG, GB and other standards.
- The manufacturing range of steel lined PTFE pipes is DN15 to DN600mm.
Due to the creep phenomenon of polytetrafluoroethylene in alternating cold and hot environments, Chengdu Yongtong Machinery has introduced a technology of adding steel wire in the middle of the lining layer. This not only improves the strength of the pipeline, but also overcomes the creep phenomenon unique to polytetrafluoroethylene, and improves the service life of the product.
The polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) pipes produced by Chengdu Yongtong Machinery are widely used in chemical, petrochemical, refining, chlor alkali, acid production, phosphate fertilizer, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, chemical fibers, dyeing, coking, coal gas, organic synthesis, non-ferrous metallurgy, steel, atomic energy and high-purity product production (such as ion membrane electrolysis), viscous material transportation and operation, and food and beverage processing and production departments with highly strict hygiene requirements.
